PrarthanaLock ("we", "our", "the app") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

1. Data We Collect

• Account info: email address (if you sign up with email) or Apple ID token (Sign in with Apple).
• Preferences: your chosen Ishta-Devata(s), language, and sampradaya/region setting.
• Usage data: mood check-in selections, prayer sessions, japa counts, sadhana log entries, and streak/garden progress — stored to power your dashboard and analytics.
• Community posts: anonymous prayer requests you choose to submit publicly.

We do not collect: your contacts, photos, browsing history, location (sunrise/sunset is computed on-device), or the content of blocked apps.

2. How We Use Your Data

Solely to provide and improve the app: matching prayers to your mood and deity, tracking your streaks, displaying your dashboard, and moderating community content.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

• Infrastructure providers (hosting, database) under strict data processing agreements.
• RevenueCat for subscription management (anonymized subscriber ID only).
• Law enforcement if required by law.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

5. Children's Privacy

PrarthanaLock is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

6. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest) and access controls to protect your data.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR, India's DPDP Act, and applicable laws, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Contact us at privacy@prarthanalock.app.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified in-app.
